GUIDED TOUR AND TASTING
The guided tour begins in our wine bar with the history of a unique estate in Rioja that once belonged to one of the most influential and exciting figures of the 19th century.
Accompanied by an expert guide, we will walk to the heart of the oldest vineyard on the property to learn in detail what makes this estate an exceptional place for growing grapes, learning the importance of the vineyard in order to make great wines: fine, elegant and with ageing potential.
After it, we will continue with a commented tasting of the 4 wines made at Finca La Emperatriz, discovering their elaboration process while you enjoy them with a selection of typical artisanal products of the region.
A perfect experience to enjoy great wines in the open air of an historic estate in Rioja.

THE EMPRESS’ GARDEN
WINE BAR, TERRACE AND SHOP
The best place to enjoy a glass of wine among the vineyards in an informal and relaxed way.
With amazing views of the Demanda mountain range and the San Lorenzo peak, the estate has a beautiful garden in the heart of its 101 hectares of vineyards, which has recently been recognized with a Solete by the Repsol Guide in its 2022 edition.
Surrounded by this idyllic setting, we invite you to enjoy this spectacular garden where the WineBar terrace is located and open to the public without prior reservation.
OUR WINE TASTINGS
In our wine bar we offer an extensive wine tasting menu to try different wine references or even vintages that are no longer available outside the cellar.
These wine tastings go from 2 to 5 wines, and all are served with a nibble of handmade products and a brief explanation of the wines.
If desired, additionally proposals from the menu can be ordered. You will find a great selection of local and seasonal gastronomic products of the highest quality.
Although prior reservation is not necessary, we recommend contacting us in advance.
